Mr. Mollis received his Juris Doctor at the Western State University Law School and is a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. He is active in the local legal community, including in the Orange County, Los Angeles County, and American Bar Associations, in addition to being an active member of the American Society of International Law and the California State Bar Taxation Advisory Commission. His professional honors include being A.M. Best rated and holding Martindale-Hubbell's AV Preeminent peer rating for more than two decades, indicating that peers rank him at the highest levels of professional excellence and ethical standards. Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Mollis is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a member of the Board of Directors for the Golden West College Foundation. He has also been involved in the California Community College Foundation and is a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Mr. Mollis is also a lifetime member of the NRA.

Mr. Mollis is a Specialist in Tax Law, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Central, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. Claims Court, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1981.
